Sawyer Utah

Emerging 23-year-old writer, producer and artist Sawyer Utah began his

musical journey writing songs in his bedroom at the age of 7. He was

raised in the college town of La Crosse, Wisconsin, where he performed his

first open mic at the age of 8. As he continued into middle school and high

school, he mastered the art of engineering and production. Through family

friends, Sawyer connected with music business veteran, Norbert Nix. He

signed with Nix’s artist development and publishing enterprise, VISCYRL,

and was fast-tracked into sessions in Los Angeles, New York, and

Nashville. 

Recent cuts include “Happy Ever After” by Zach Hood & ROSIE (Arista),

 “Neon Skies” by Zach Hood (Arista), and “You Go First” by Alex Angelo. 

He’s recently written and produced with artists such as Bryant Barnes

(Mercury/Republic), Thomas Day (Arista), Zach Hood (Arista), Lauren

Watkins (Big Loud), Camylio (Mercury/Republic), Jackson Foote (Loote),

Jacob Sartorius, Prateek Kuhad (Elektra), and Georgia Webster (Sony

Music Nashvile/River House) among many others.

Sawyer’s own releases have surpassed 750k streams in just over a year,

while his writing cuts have accumulated over 3M plays. Most recently, his

co-write for Zach Hood + ROSIE’s ,“Happy Ever After” (Arista) reached

over 300k streams in its first two weeks.

Recently, Sawyer released his new single “san fran” (with mxrgan)  through

VISCYRL X / The Orchard, his fastest growing single to date. 

 In the last year and a half, Sawyer released his first three singles, “Nights

Like This”, “One Last Time”, and  “TEXAS”
